Wild Tongue is an online writing circle for the women who want to write.
This is for you if…
you’re tired of daydreaming about writing and want to actually write
you’re feeling the call to get pen to paper or fingers to keypad
you want to explore your internal world more deeply
you want to write in the presence of other amazing women
you are ready to be witnessed and witness the words of others
you are keen to express yourself through your words and would love to write alongside a circle of women who do too!
These weekly online gatherings will help keep you accountable to show up for your writing, and provide a brave space in which to do so.

We meet online for 8 weeks to write together.
Each week I provide a couple of prompts, and we have approximately 20-25 minutes to write into what we feel called to write. Gatherings typically last between 60-90 minutes.

WHAT MAKES WILD TONGUE DIFFERENT…
Wild Tongue is not about 'getting better’ at writing (but I guess the more you write, the easier it feels 😏).
I am not a writing teacher, I am a facilitator and space holder who, with all my heart believes woman are brimming full of words, wisdom and sacred stories.
There is no critiquing or advice given on how to write or what style or genre to adopt.
No gold stars given, but you will have a bunch of other badass women around you who will very likely be frothing over your words.
There’s absolutely no focus on spelling or grammar - scribble the shit out of your page, I dare you!
Each session is an invitation to show up to your stories and your words, with the option to share your writing with the group.
We build deep trust in our words, knowing that what wants to be written comes out.
By writing in this way, we DO challenge and unravel the beliefs we may hold about what being a writer is - cus, NEWSFLASH, we are ALL writers.

These sessions are designed to include simple ritual and grounding in to begin, a great chance to call yourself present and sink into the circle space. Then I share the prompts and we write for 20-25 mins. I let you know when there’s a couple of minutes to go. Once the 20-25 mins are up, I invite the women to share their words in the circle. I invite the women to offer any reflections in the chat after a woman has shared her words. After the sharing and reflections have taken place, we close the circle and gather like this each time we meet.

No, these sessions are not recorded, they are live only.
If you can’t make a session, I follow up after the sessions with the prompt options and you’re free to write into it in your own time.

If you are unable to attend a session, I will email you with the prompts within 24 hours of the circle taking place. This way, you are welcome to write into the prompts in your own time.

You’ll need a phone or computer to join the Goggle Meets online space. Just bring yourself, your journal, a pen and if you like to light a candle, incense or use room spray, please free to bring them to the session.

The sessions range from 60-90 minutes, depending on how many women are on the call. I usually set the timer for us to write between 20-23 mins depending on the numbers (and I’m a sucker for favourite numbers - 22 and 23 being two of them!)
