Wild Tongue Writing Group – Terms & Conditions

This is an eight-week online writing group for women to write. This is a space for creative exploration and self-expression, guided by weekly prompts. 

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreements that bring clarity and care to our online group. Please take a moment to read them before joining.

Overview

Wild Tongue is an 8-week online writing group created as a creative, expressive space for women to explore their writing voices through guided prompts and intuitive writing.

For 8 weeks, we meet live via Google Meets for shared writing and optional sharing. Sessions are not recorded to honour the privacy and immediacy of the experience.

Payment & Commitment

Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place or a payment plan that you have committed to paying has been arranged with Katie.

Due to the small group size and preparation involved, all sales are final -no refunds, transfers, or cancellations are available. Please book mindfully.

Attendance & Scheduling

The group meets for eight weeks at the scheduled time.

You are responsible for attending sessions live; recordings will not be provided.

If Katie O’Neill needs to cancel a session for any reason, that session will be rescheduled to take place at the end of the block, on the following Wednesday if Katie is able to.

If a participant misses a session, no refund, replacement session, or transfer will be offered.

Confidentiality & Privacy

Wild Tongue is a confidential space.

What is shared within the group including words, stories, or reflections must not be shared outside of it. Screenshots, recordings, or any redistribution of content are not permitted.

Respectful Participation

Wild Tongue is a non-advice-giving space.

You are invited to listen with presence and respect, and to share only from your own experience. Please refrain from offering critique or advice.

Creative Ownership

All writing you create within the group remains entirely your own.

Participants agree not to copy, distribute, or use the work of others without written permission.

Facilitator Role

Katie O’Neill facilitates Wild Tongue as a creative guide and space holder.

These sessions are reflective and expressive in nature — they do not constitute therapy, counselling, professional advice or writing teaching.

Personal Responsibility & Disclaimer

By joining Wild Tongue, you acknowledge that you are participating in a creative and reflective experience facilitated by Katie O’Neill.

You are solely responsible for your own emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing throughout the program.

Wild Tongue is not a therapeutic or clinical space, and Katie O’Neill does not provide counselling, psychological support, or medical advice. Participation in the group and engagement with writing prompts are voluntary and at your own discretion.

Katie O’Neill accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, harm, or injury (emotional, mental, or otherwise) that may arise through participation in Wild Tongue or in connection with any writing or reflections that emerge from the sessions.
