Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and your purchase of any services or digital products offered by Katie O’Neill (ABN: 20346052700), operating from the south coast of NSW, Australia (referred to as "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing this website or purchasing any of our services or products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If something isn't clear, get in touch before you buy.

1. Our Services

We offer the following types of services and products:

1:1 coaching and mentoring: individual sessions delivered via video call, focused on matrescence, identity, and personal reclamation

Group coaching containers: small-group programmes delivered online over a set period

Writing circles: facilitated group writing experiences delivered online

Digital products: downloadable resources, mini courses, and self-paced programmes

Full details of each offering, including what is included, the format, and the investment, are described on the relevant sales or booking page. Please review this information carefully before purchasing.

2. Coaching '/ Mentorship is Not Therapy

Coaching and mentoring are not a substitute for professional mental health support, medical advice, or therapy. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or have significant clinical needs, we encourage you to seek support from a qualified mental health professional.

Our work together is oriented toward insight, growth, and creative reclamation — not clinical treatment. You are responsible for your own wellbeing and for making decisions that are right for you.

3. Booking and Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment is required at the time of booking or enrolment unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing.

By completing payment, you are confirming that you have read and understood what is included in the service or product you are purchasing.

Payment plans, where offered, require you to complete all scheduled payments regardless of whether you attend all sessions or complete the programme. If you miss a payment, we reserve the right to pause your access until payment is received.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

1:1 Sessions

You may reschedule a session with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge

Cancellations or reschedule requests made with less than 24 hours' notice will forfeit that session

Unused sessions in a package do not carry over - please check the expiry timeframe on your individual agreement

Group Programmes and Writing Circles

Due to the nature of group work and limited spaces, payments for group programmes and writing circles are non-refundable once the programme has commenced

If you need to withdraw before the programme begins, please contact us as soon as possible — we will consider transfer of your payment to a future round on a case-by-case basis

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a group programme if minimum numbers are not met, in which case a full refund will be issued

Digital Products

Due to the immediate nature of digital delivery, all sales of digital products are final and non-refundable once access has been granted

If you experience a technical issue preventing access, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve it

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have services remedied if they fail to be of acceptable quality.

6. Confidentiality

What you share in our 1:1 sessions stays between us. We will not share your personal information, your story, or the content of our sessions with anyone without your explicit consent, except where we are required to by law (for example, where there is a risk to your safety or the safety of others).

In group settings, all participants are asked to honour the same commitment: what is shared in the group stays in the group. While we set this expectation clearly, we cannot be held responsible for the behaviour of other participants.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including written content, frameworks, methodologies, resources, course materials, and programme structures — is the intellectual property of Katie O’Neill and is protected by copyright.

You may not reproduce, share, sell, adapt, or distribute any of our content without written permission. This includes sharing course or programme materials with people who have not purchased them.

The writing you produce during our programmes and sessions belongs to you. We may ask for your permission to share your words (e.g. as a testimonial or in our marketing) — we will always ask first and never share without your consent.

8. Your Responsibilities

To get the most from our work together, you agree to:

Engage honestly and in good faith

Take responsibility for the choices and actions you make as a result of our work

Honour the confidentiality of others in group settings

Treat facilitators and other participants with respect

Seek professional medical or mental health support where needed, rather than relying solely on coaching / mentorship

9. Limitation of Liability

We are committed to delivering our services with care and professionalism. However, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our website, services, or digital products.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or our services will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant service or product.

10. Website Use

We do our best to keep this website accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that all information is current or error-free. We reserve the right to change or remove content at any time without notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the updated version will be posted on this website with a new date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
